Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is a serious academic offense, and IJABMES follows a zero-tolerance policy towards it. All submissions are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review.

The following points govern our plagiarism policy:

1. Similarity Check – Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than the permissible limit (as per COPE and UGC CARE standards) are rejected outright or sent back to authors for correction.
2. Types of Plagiarism – This includes verbatim copying, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism (duplicate publication), and data fabrication.
3. Action Against Plagiarism – If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted and an appropriate notice will be published. Authors may also be blacklisted from future submissions.

This policy ensures that the research published in IJABMES remains authentic, original, and ethically sound, thereby maintaining the journal’s reputation and academic integrity.
